Aisha N Tyler, an American actress born in 1970 on 18th September. Besides being an actress, she is also a stand-up comedian and above an author. She is the child of a photographer and teacher named Robin Gregory and Jim Tyler respectively.
She was born in San Francisco. Her background was not a pleasing one though; her parents were divorced when she was ten only and was brought up by her father. She is married to an attorney Jeff Tietiens.
Aisha loved comedy and was very keen in the topic, so she bunked her regular courses and joined local improve classes. She attended many schools; McAteer High School, San Francisco School of Arts, Dartmouth College from where she earned the degree in Environmental Policy and later became the member of The Tabard.
During her college life, Aisha participated in the all-female a capella group. After a short stay at San Francisco advertising firm, she left for a tour around the country pursuing a comedy life.
Her career life began early this century through Talk Soup and The Fifth Wheel. Aisha received an NAACP Image award. In her acting world, she played role in Friends as Charlie Wheeler. She did some roles in CSI: Miami and Nip/Tuck.
Also in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and 24 in mid 2000s. Aisha had also appeared in other CBS drama Without a Trace. Some of her popular films are The Santa Clause 2 and 3, The Escape Clause, 45 and Balls of Fury.
In 2007, she did Death Sentence and Black Water Transit. Along with her movies, her television series are Boston Legal, Reno 911!, The Boondocks. Aisha also was a member of the print media and regularly contributed to Glamour and Jane magazines. Her first ever book was Swerve: A Guide to the Sweet Life for Postmodern Girls.
