Danica Sue Patrick was born on March 25th in the year of 1982. She is an American auto racing driver, a model and also an advertising spokesman.She was born to parents who have been very supportive and helpful during her career life.
Her father T.J. helps her by driving her motor coach and her mother handles her other business affairs. She was born in Beloit though she was brought up in Illinois.
Her preparation for the career life had begun when ten at the Sugar River Raceway where she won several World Karting Association track championships. Six years later, in England Patrick joined the British national series events.
In the year 2002, she began driving for race in United States. Patrick was declared to drive for the IndyCar race for 2005 and on 29 May 2005, she became the fourth woman to race in the In dianapolis 500.
Patrick became the first female driver to lead a race and had to overcome at least two crucial errors to finish fourth. In July the same month, she won successfully the pole position.
She became the second woman to finish this feat in the IndyCar Series. She also won her second pole at Kentucky Speedway.
In the following year, Patrick raced in the 2006 IndyCar series. At the Indy 500, Patrick remained in the same position; she started with eight and finished with eight.
Her position then seemed to stay inconsistent from 12th to 9th in the IndyCar series championship. In 2007, she established a fan club named Danica Maniacs where she in interaction with her fans.
But her position went much worse than any other times. Her success was regained in 2008, with her starting with second and finishing with sixth.
Later she won at Twig Ring Montegi in the Indy Japan 300 that April becoming the first woman to win an IndyCar race. However, a mechanical problem forced her to leave from the race earlier.
From 2010 till present, she returned to the drive in the IZOD IndyCar series. During 2010, she set the IndyCar Series for consecutive races.
It is known that Patrick shall return to the IndyCar series again and also compete in the NASCAR Nationwide Series.
